My training is aimed at making people, teams and organisations play better. In short, this means to enhance both performance and (work) fun. If there is one thing I learned from working in a variety of sectors, it is that one is closely linked to the other: if you don’t enjoy what you do, you will never reach your limit. As a consequence, my team training and individual coaching sessions are explicitly focused on both aspects, since high performance is only achievable if you play well and have fun.
The practical training programmes I offer are focused on motivation, communication, management & leadership, core values, change management, teamwork and high performance; or in other words getting the best out of yourself/your team/your organisation. The latter is what I call “Play to Win”, as opposed to “play to not lose”. This training method, which has been developed over the years, is based on playing freely with Determination, Objectives, Inspiration and Talent (the DO IT principles). In case you want to know more about the specific design and content of my training programmes please contact me.
The master class “Play to Win” is an interactive training focusing on how to play more to win. The master class will answer questions such as: why do we, more often than we realise, stick to a “play to not lose” mentality rather than a “Play to Win” state of mind? Why, when we focus on movement, do we obtain decisively better results? What fundamental choices, actions and behaviour are required to achieve high performance, as a person, as a team and as an organisation?
Alongside the local options exists the unique possibility to complete an intensive “Play to Win” master class in Barcelona. This option can be carried out over two or three days and it connects with the vision that top managers are in essence corporate athletes that also need to manage their energy well. The programme consists of integrated indoor sessions, as well as active outdoor training. The active sessions will be led by a
Should less time be available and/or should the group be too big for a training or master class, I can offer a presentation on “Play to Win”, motivation, management & leadership, handling change and high (team) performance. This could be the kick-off or closure of a special meeting, or part of a broader programme. Even though a presentation is less interactive compared to a training session or master class, the audience is involved as much as possible. The exact implementation is always customised, in consultation and in line with the composition and objectives of the broader programme that I underline in the final design of my presentation.
